Famous People Who Have Fallen:
In June of 2014 actress Ann Davis who played Alice the housekeeper on The Brady Bunch suffered a subdural hematoma and died due to a slip and fall which took place in the bathroom of her home in San Antonio.
Legendary author Kurt Vonnegut died due to complications from brain injuries he sustained from a fall at his home in Manhattan.
The nation’s first Commissioner on Aging died after complications from a fall. William D. Bechill was a leading expert on long-term care, Social Security and senior centers.

The TheraTub comes with an extremely easy to open and close locking handle that requires minimal force to operate. In addition, our door seal is made from the highest aviation grade rubber which is guaranteed to never leak and our door is secured to the frame using an unusually sturdy and full length piano style hinge.
Winged door style
Our walk-in tub may also come with the widest door in the industry; should you or a loved one need more room. This design feature allows our customers to easily close the door from a seated position as the door passes over their legs.
Up to 3 custom placed safety grab bars
Our factory trained, licensed and insured installers can install up to 3 custom placed grab bars for you; this is to ensure that you can safely and easily enter and exit your TheraTub.
Auto gravity jet purging system
If you have ever turned on the water jets after a period of idleness on a spa or pool system then you know that dangerous mold and mildew will spew out of the jets when you turn them on. The TheraTub walk-in tub comes with an auto gravity purge system which dries out the lines after each use to prevent harmful mold and mildew from entering your next bath's water. Our purging system lasts one minute and comes on automatically 20 minutes after the blower is turned off or can be set to come on every 24 hours.
High gloss bacteria and mold resistant sanitary gel coat
The TheraTub comes with a very generous application of our sanitary bacteria and mold resistant gel coat. This gives your TheraTub a beautiful high-gloss shine while resisting bacteria and making cleaning easier.
17" high ADA compliant seat and anti-slip floor
Our walk-in tub comes with a contoured seat that is 17" high. This height is ADA compliant and makes standing and sitting from this level much easier. The TheraTub's seat is designed to be very comfortable and can include an optional bidet jet if desired. The floor of our walk-in tub is engineered to be highly slip resistant to help keep you from falling inside the tub.
Quickly drains in about 2 minutes
We designed the TheraTub to minimize drain time; this allows you to exit the tub quickly once your bath is completed. This will help keep you warm upon exit from your bath/shower.
Ozone water purification system and bidet jet (optional)
The TheraTub may come equipped with an ozone water purification system and/or bidet jet. This is the same ozonation system used in bottled water purification to kill bacteria. TheraTub's unique ozonation system begins a 15 minute cleaning cycle one hour after your bath.
Foot soak only option
Your TheraTub walk-in tub comes with the option to hold the water level at the height to soak your feet only, without drawing a full bath. This is particularly beneficial for people with diabetes!
Select-A-Flow system to adjust jet strength
TheraTub's Select-A-Flow system allows the user to adjust the power of the jet flow from low then medium; which offers a subtle flow or all the way up to full power. Some other walk-in tub companies only offer you one strength of jet flow which may be too powerful for people with sensitive skin and the rate of flow will never change.
